A bridesmaid gown is chosen with care, a reflection of the wedding’s style, the bride’s vision, and the special role you play in the celebration. We honour that significance with exceptional attention to detail. Using our exclusive Baptiste Process®, your gown is meticulously cleaned to revive its colour, texture, and delicate embellishments. Once refreshed, it is expertly steamed and returned to you ready to hang in a breathable RPET gown cover. RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a premium, eco‑conscious fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. It is breathable, protective, and designed to safeguard garments while reducing environmental impact.

Your garment is then placed in a white transit box, to ensure it remains protected throughout its journey home.

This service is ideal for those wishing to have their Bridesmaid and evening gowns, or pre‑loved garments professionally cleaned to wear again, refresh for resale, or simply restore their original beauty.

For those wishing to preserve their outfit long‑term, you may add a breathable storage box or a handcrafted acid‑free preservation box to your order below. These premium options offer superior protection against dust, light, and discolouration, making them perfect for heirloom or seasonal storage.

There are no customisation or personalisation options included with this service. For bespoke preservation boxes, calligraphy personalisation, and luxury long‑term storage solutions, please explore our Cleaning & Preservation Box Packages.

Please note: This service is not recommended for long‑term storage, as the transit box provided is not acid‑free.

Before cleaning begins, your garment will undergo a full inspection. If we identify any discrepancies, our Customer Care team will contact you to discuss any variation in cost or, if necessary, arrange the return of your item (carriage chargeable).

Express Service

Our usual turnaround time is 3/4 weeks. With our Express Cleaning Service, we can turn around your Gown in as little as 7/10 days from receiving it. Need your dress even sooner? Give us a call and we can assess and accommodate your needs.

Your garment will be beautifully packed into your chosen preservation box, cushioned with layers of acid‑free tissue. These premium storage options provide exceptional protection against dust, light, and discolouration, making them ideal for heirloom preservation or long‑term seasonal storage.

Enjoy our complimentary all‑day, weekday collection and delivery service across the UK Mainland.
On the day of collection, the courier will provide a secure plastic box for your garments. You can pack your garments while the courier waits. A bar‑coded returns label is included to ensure safe, trackable transit back to us.
For the Highlands and Channel Islands, please contact us for availability and pricing.

• Timed or Saturday Collection (Surcharge Applies)
Timed weekday and Saturday collection options are available for an additional fee.
The price shown applies to collection only. Delivery upgrades can be added closer to your garment’s return date if required.

• Personal Collection by Terrington Burchett
A member of our team can personally collect your garments and return once your service is complete.
Pricing will be confirmed once we have your postcode and preferred collection date. Please contact us for further details.

• Bring Your Garments to Us
If you prefer to deliver your garments personally, simply call us to arrange an appointment at our studio.

• Use Your Own Courier
If you prefer to arrange your own courier, you are welcome to do so.
Please ensure your garments are securely packaged and fully insured for transit. We will provide our address once your order is confirmed.

Insurance Cover During Transit

Standard transit insurance covers your gown up to £999.
Additional insurance can be purchased below for extra peace of mind.

Please select the level of transit insurance that reflects the full value of your order. This ensures your garments and any additional items are fully protected while travelling to and from our studio.

• Weekday service is available Tuesday – Friday
• Must be 3 working days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) on from your order date (if order placed after 3 pm please allow 4 working days)
• If collected on a Friday, we do not receive until the following Monday
• Date not confirmed until email received after Order submitted to confirm collection scheduled
• Weekend and timed services are only available if selected above in ‘Shipping’ (charges apply)
• If opted to deliver personally or via own courier please confirm preferred appointment / delivery due date
