Your Christening Gown is cared for with the tenderness and respect a family heirloom deserves. Using our exclusive Baptiste Process®, we gently cleanse the delicate fabrics, honouring the memories and meaning held within every stitch. After cleaning, your gown is delicately hand‑steamed and nestled into a handcrafted, acid‑free preservation box, designed in the style you choose. Each box is layered with soft, acid‑free tissue to protect your gown from dust, light, and discolouration, helping to preserve its beauty for future generations.

Select your preferred box design from the swatches below. Once chosen, a larger preview will appear so you can appreciate the craftsmanship and detail of your bespoke preservation box. You may also personalise your keepsake with elegant calligraphy and your choice of ribbon, creating a truly meaningful presentation.

This package includes the careful cleaning and preservation of accompanying accessories such as bonnets, bloomers, bibs, and booties, ensuring every cherished piece of your little one’s ensemble is beautifully protected.

Please note: Each preservation box is individually handcrafted. As a result, the final design may vary slightly from the examples shown due to the unique placement of design elements.

Select a hand-tied ribbon that reflects your style and add a personal message, artfully handwritten in black calligraphy inside the lid, or exquisitely printed along the ribbon tails for a stunning finishing touch.

Hand-tied Ribbon

Your message will be printed on the ribbon tails in your chosen colour. We recommend including your wedding date, new married name, or a short meaningful phrase. Our team will place the text in the most elegant position for the design.

Your message will be beautifully handwritten in black calligraphy on the inside of your box lid.
Please note – messages can be up to 29 characters per line (inc spaces) and a maximum of 3 lines.

Enjoy our complimentary all‑day, weekday collection and delivery service across the UK Mainland.
On the day of collection, the courier will provide a secure plastic box for your garments. You can pack your garments while the courier waits. A bar‑coded returns label is included to ensure safe, trackable transit back to us.
For the Highlands and Channel Islands, please contact us for availability and pricing.

• Timed or Saturday Collection (Surcharge Applies)
Timed weekday and Saturday collection options are available for an additional fee.
The price shown applies to collection only. Delivery upgrades can be added closer to your garment’s return date if required.

• Personal Collection by Terrington Burchett
A member of our team can personally collect your garments and return once your service is complete.
Pricing will be confirmed once we have your postcode and preferred collection date. Please contact us for further details.

• Bring Your Garments to Us
If you prefer to deliver your garments personally, simply call us to arrange an appointment at our studio.

• Use Your Own Courier
If you prefer to arrange your own courier, you are welcome to do so.
Please ensure your garments are securely packaged and fully insured for transit. We will provide our address once your order is confirmed.

Insurance Cover During Transit

Standard transit insurance covers your gown up to £999.
Additional insurance can be purchased below for extra peace of mind.

Please select the level of transit insurance that reflects the full value of your order. This ensures your garments and any additional items are fully protected while travelling to and from our studio.

• Weekday service is available Tuesday – Friday
• Must be 3 working days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) on from your order date (if order placed after 3 pm please allow 4 working days)
• If collected on a Friday, we do not receive until the following Monday
• Date not confirmed until email received after Order submitted to confirm collection scheduled
• Weekend and timed services are only available if selected above in ‘Shipping’ (charges apply)
• If opted to deliver personally or via own courier please confirm preferred appointment / delivery due date
